My name is Matt Gorecki and I started Go! Elephant in 2006 after failing to find a reliable system to backup my photos and graphics design work. I tried many different backup programs and methods before deciding on Ahsay backup software.
In 2010, Go! Elephant ran into limitations with Ahsay and switched to Asigra. Asigra enables Go! Elephant to provide backup services to larger clients who use a wider range of software applications.
My goal is simple: to make backing up your business data as painless as possible. I don’t want you to deal with the hassle of setting up your own Linux server and running rsync over an ssh tunnel. If that sentence didn’t make any sense, you need Go! Elephant Backup.
When not working on Go! Elephant, you can find me at the bowling alley or making music as Able Danger.
